i purchased my fan through A DIFFERENT SELLER, why am i being directed to tal?

TAL is the customer service arm for a variety of brands and businesses, and are a direct line to the manufacturer. Your fan’s retailer’s customer service team and TAL’s customer service team work together to provide customer support, however, TAL also handles motor warranty service and more advanced product support.

My ceiling fan isn’t working, should i return it to the store?

If you are having issues with your ceiling fan, you should instead contact customer service or visit the Troubleshooting page. TAL’s customer service team can troubleshoot with you and find out what is causing your issue. A majority of the time the fan is working correctly, but wasn’t installed or configured properly. Customer service can also provide replacement parts under warranty.

will tal Provide support for my ceiling fan?

TAL will only service certain fans that they manufacture, some retailers will have multiple manufacturers for their brands and products. To confirm if your ceiling fan is a TAL manufactured model, search for it in the Fan Model Finder.

how do identify my fan model?

There are 4 identifiers for TAL’s ceiling fan models; the UPC number, the SKU number, the model number, and the fan’s name. The UPC number is the most accurate identifier because it will help customer service staff confirm which version of the fan model you have. The UPC, SKU, and model number are found on a sticker on top of the fan motor (or in the mounting bracket/canopy for certain flush mount fans). The SKU and fan’s name can also be found on the box and on the front page of the owner’s manual. You can also browse the Fan Model Gallery to see if your fan appears.

how do i replace broken or missing parts for my fan?

You can contact customer service to obtain replacement parts with or without warranty. Parts for discontinued models may be available as well. If you need assistance installing a replacement part, you can visit the Replacement Parts page or contact customer service for help.

What is covered under the warranty?

The warranty will vary for the motor, parts, and LED light (if applicable). You will need to review the warranty information in your product’s owner’s manual to confirm the length of coverage. Only workmanship and material defects from the factory and shipment are covered. Damage from accident, misuse, or modification are not covered by the warranty. How do i return a replacement part for refund?

If you purchased a replacement part directly from TAL, you will need to contact Customer Service for approval. Afterwards, you will need to fill out and follow the instructions on the included Return Policy form. Parts purchased through other retailers cannot be returned to TAL. Parts purchased through TAL are under a strict 30 day return window with a 1 year warranty for part defects.
